The person I most admire: My father - he has been a lifelong inspiration to me in athletics and life. Colleges I am interested in attending: Carnegie Mellon University, Pitt, Duquesne, Allegheny What I want to major in at college: Business Marketing / Communications What I would like to do after college: Be successful & good salary Other sports or activities I participate in at Gateway: Key club, Beta club, Leo club, internet, AMUST, Changes, Basketball Announcer, Talismen, Choir, Musical, Stand by Me, Class Council, Community Service Most memorable moment for me with Gateway Football: When I was in 10th grade and playing J.V., we travelled to Ringgold in the 3rd week of the season. I was forced to play fullback because Mike Barlak was hurt that week and there were no other fullbacks. We were on the 20 yard line when the 120 boot play was called. Being the fullback, I had an 8 yard over pattern from the backfield, and I was the 3rd option on the play. I was lucky enough on the play to catch the ball and advance us to the 3 yard line, but upon being tackled, I became stunned and I also had the rubber from the field all over my face and in my eyes. I stumbled back to the huddle and coach called a timeout. I told the coach "I can't see... straight." He then told me to send my friend Rob Seifort in by stating "Send Rob in." I thought about it for a bit, and in my haze from being tackled, I said back to coach "Who's Robin?" Everyone laughed and I still get made fun of for that today. What is your best accomplishment in life: I'm 18; I think and hope my best accomplishment in live hasn't come yet. Not too many people know that... I do over 100 hours of community service each school year. I'm in the musical, I'm the color commentator for Gateway Basketball. Athletic letters received: Football - 2 year letterman. What does playing for the Gateway Gators mean to you? I see it as continuing a winning tradition |
